About The School Bus Site

My name is Mr. Bus Driver and have been driving a school bus for several years.  It really isn’t my name but that’s what students call me until they can actually remember my real name.

Anyway, like most drivers I have heard a lot of stories from kids about their everyday lives.  I have found in many cases kids want to talk about things in their lives, good and bad, but most times don’t have anyone who will listen.

Several years ago I told my wife that I could write a book about some of the things I hear.  It was her idea to start a blog … and here I am.

This website is a place where I want to share my stories, my thoughts, my insights regarding my experiences as a school bus driver.

I want to not only bring awareness to the issues of children, but be resource and outlet for other students and bus drivers.

Some of my stories are sad, some are touching, some are inspiring. I share them openly and honestly and welcome your comments on the blog.
